Dr Dori is licensed in the following modalities:

  1. Clinical Nutrition: the foundation of health. What you ingest affects how you feel and how your body works. Working together we come up with dietary protocols that are optimized for your body and your life. Nutritional assessment, advice, support, modification and nutraceutical supplements are utilized where needed.  Labs may be ordered where indicated.

  2. Botanical Medicine: also known as Herbalism, the well studied art and science of using plants and their therapeutic constituents in order to utilize their effectiveness in acute and chronic conditions.

  3. Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine: an ancient and complete system of diagnosis and treatment that includes the use of herbs and meridians to stimulate the proper flow of Qi (energy) throughout the body.  Therapies include Acupuncture, Acupressure, Asian foods and herbal formulas. According to TCM, when your energy flow or Qi is out of balance, your body cannot adapt to stress, making you more likely to develop chronic illness and experience pain. A harmonious flow of Qi will help sustain your long-term physical, mental and emotional health.

  4. Homeopathy: a systemized method of clinical evaluation and treatment using minute, diluted doses of natural substances based on the theory of like curing like, stimulating the body’s innate vitality.

  5. Physical medicine:  massage and hydrotherapy – the use of cold and heat to invigorate the body, improving circulation and immune response while supporting healing.

  6. Stress Management and Lifestyle Counselling: maintaining wellness over a long term period must include the incorporation of healthy habits and implementing principles of healthy living into one’s life. Emotional states and attitudes are vital elements to consider. Together we can identify areas of your health and life that may be obstacles to feeling your best, and find solutions and new tactics to feeling great.
